All of the staff of Tooth & Nail is trained in medication administration, from injections to oral meds. We will do everything in our power to maintain the routine, which your pet requires. An alternative plan is always preferable in case that your pet does not accept medication administration by one of us and this usually involves having a local veterinary aware that you are going to be away and that this pet may possibly require boarding with them should we encounter problems. All of this information is obtained during our complimentary initial visit. Fees may be adjusted based on what is involved but if there are not great obstacles, we do not make it a practice to raise rates simply because your baby(s) need meds.
We always leave a detailed account of all or any incidents involving your pet(s) and household. At Tooth & Nail, we consider communication to be vital in building a strong relationship with our clients and addition to pertinent to the welfare of your pets and household.
As far as it is not unmanageable in weight or size, we are delighted to bring your packages into your home. As for signing, you or we, can make arrangements with the carrier to insure that your package/parcel is received by us. This may involve additional fees.
Absolutely NOT! We bring in your daily "stuff", ie. Mail, newspapers. Altering lights, drawing curtains, watering of a few household plants in addition to pet care are all included in your basic visit.
We offer taxi service (again, ideally with enough notice) for your pets. This service is based on $30.00 hour and if you are a daily walk client the fee is based on a regular visit in addition to mileage. Many of the local vets are familiar with Tooth & Nail and will usually do everything in their power to see your pet(s) in a timely manner. Of course, we always inform them that we are the pet sitters and are in constant contact with you concerning significant health questions.
